Join beekeeper Nancy Thorne for a lively look inside the fascinating world of honey bees. See an observation hive up close, try your hand at spotting the queen, and enjoy a sweet honey tasting! Discover the vital role these pollinators play in our environment.
With over 12 years of experience and several apiaries in Westmoreland County, Nancy’s passion for bees is contagious. She’s an active member of state and local beekeeping clubs, mentors new beekeepers, and loves sharing the wonders of these vital pollinators. Nancy is a PA Master Naturalist.
