Let’s get baking and spread some Christmas joy, one delicious cookie at a time!
Ingredients:
¾ cup butter softened
½ cup white sugar
2 egg yolks
1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup fdp Christmas Jam
1 TSP Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Beat butter, sugar, egg yolks, and vanilla together in a medium bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms. Roll dough into 1-inch balls; place balls onto ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Use your finger or an instrument of similar size to make a well in the center of each cookie. Fill the hole with 1/2 teaspoon of fdp Christmas Jam. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown on the bottom, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
If the dough is too soft to roll into balls, refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes. Yields 3 dozen cookies.
